Alphonse Mucha

Alphonse Mucha created some truly inspiring work that simply must be seen for any self-respecting art fan, particularly those with interest in more contemporary painters, which suits the style of Mucha. This blogspot post looks in detail into the career of Mucha and offers up some of his finest paintings from a long career which gave us many classic works which are themselves researched in great numbers today.

Czech art was put on the map by this artist as few others have come from this region and produced a reputation on a true international level. Happily, some of the artist's best works still remain in the Czech Republic, as it is now known, and give another reason to visit some of the best locations around this interesting country.

You may be interested to know that Mucha paintings are offered online as reproduction copies and there are great numbers of competing websites out there who offer work from his career, though we find that Art.com have the best selection and also their customer services department is second to none, so we tend to use them.

The Art Nouveau movement, meaning "New Art" from the French language, was inspired by the work of Mucha which still provides the spearhead of this movement although many significant artists followed on afterwards and gave this collection of artists a little more meat on the bone. The likes of Klimt and Beardsley have been linked to this group, but Mucha still remains very much the master of this style and he kept consistent to it through out his career, only really experimenting with the mediums that he used for it.

You can also read a helpful Alphonse Mucha press release here at PRlog.org which is great for gaining regular up-to-date information on pretty much any topic you can think of. This press release was used to promote the artist in general as well as some online resources which sell reproductions of his original paintings and prints.

Feel free to check out the reproductions available from the websites listed in this post as they make great ways of quickly browsing the best work to have come from this artist, without having to trawl through long books or similar. There are also helpful links to help you buy any prints that you need directly from art ecommerce sites such as Art.com.
